Northbeach Pavilion Pizza Restaurant, Bar & Kiosk is located in the iconic and heritage listed North Beach Bathers Pavilion on beautiful North Wollongong Beach. The structure was meticulously renovated by the Wollongong City Council ensuring the state of the art finishes complimented the heritage soul of the 1930’s building. The tasteful fit out reflects the Italian heritage of the food and the beautiful location on North Wollongong beach. The Restaurant is a light filled space with a contemporary yet casual dining room and bar area and courtyard seating. A local place, where you can drop in for a bite and beverage, hold that important business lunch, celebrate with family and friends or take in the view with a refreshing spritz on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Northbeach Pavilion Restaurant, Bar & Kiosk showcases simple Italian cuisine made from quality produce that speaks for itself. Our menu is designed for sharing and forms part of the social spirit of communal dining. The heart of the Northbeach Pavilion is the Stefano Ferrara Woodfired Pizza Oven which was directly imported from Naples, Italy – the birthplace of the Pizza! Our oven is a 100% wood fired oven. Our Pizza’s are made Neopolitan style which means that the dough is hand rolled, the oven fired between 350-400 degrees celsuis and the pizza left to cook for 90 seconds. We only use 00 fine flour and San Marzano tomatoes from Naples regarded to be the best ingredients for pizza – making is naturally sweeter and easier to digest.
